Hi, I'm Satya.
In 1996 I both started my technology career and moved to San Francisco. I had grown up nerdy, touch typing away at age 9, addicted to local Bulletin Board Systems accessible via our 300 baud black box modem. (Dial phone, push buttons, hang up phone, push buttons.) I focused my career on Web production, and I was and am passionate about hand-coding HTML and integrating it with back-end systems. Along the way I learned Photoshop and began designing for myself and, gradually, friends and acquaintances.

In 2003, after racking up a hefty resume, I decided to venture out on my own and started Crimson Octopus Design. I love being a freelancer because I can do things my way, building relationships based on quality and decidedly unflakey work.
